 Free Nesting Tables plans - Small tables are always handy--whether for an intimate takeout dinner, or salsa and chips when the guys show up for the game. The rest of the time, though, they're in the way--unless they're built to nest. The idea is simple: Just remove one rail, make the next table smaller, then slide it under the first. Our set is built of nominal 1- and 2-in. stock (3/4 and 1-1/2in. thick) and has medium-density fiberboard (MDF) tops. For visual interest, we painted the MDF, then trimmed the edges with wood and an optional black-stained accent strip.
